Midweek Matches 28 - 30 May
The very best of luck to our ladies playing the third round of their Championships this week. Seniors are away while Juniors play at home on Wednesday. In men's competition, our hurlers play league games away on Tuesday and Thursday while our first team are at home on Wednesday. Good luck to all!

U12 Girls Through to Dublin Community Games Semis
U12 girls played St Judes this evening away representing Malahide in the 2nd match of community games. A very tight match but huge effort and great performance by our girls to win the game by 6 points. There’s great excitement now for the Dublin semi finals!

Syls U8s & U9s Boys Take Part In Festival of Football
It was a brilliant day out for our U8 & U9 boys at the Festival of Football in UCD today. The two Syls age groups played excellent football all day against teams from Kilmacud, St Vincents, Clontibret from Monaghan and Walterstown from Meath. Well done to their mentors & sincere thanks to hosts Kilmacud Crokes for organizing such a terrific event.
Michael Shiel Named on Dublin Panel
Syls goalkeeper Michael Shiel is named on this evening’s Dublin panel v Louth in the Leinster Senior Football Championship Quarter-final. A fantastic achievement - congratulations and best of luck Michael!

St Sylvester's GAA Malahide Celebrates Mini All Ireland Finals Day
Over 500 young players of St Sylvester's GAA Malahide didn't let any threat of rain deter them as they celebrated the Club's Mini All-Irelands Finals Day at Broomfield on Sunday 19th May.
2012 Boys In Blitz Debut
The Syls 2012 Boys Team are making their blitz debut against neighbours Naomh Mearnog in Broomfield this Saturday. There is great excitement as each club will field 60 boys who are looking forward to testing out their football and hurling skills, which have been developed over the last 3 years in their nursery programmes. MINI ALL IRELANDS 2019 supported by Kerrigans Meats & Super Valu Malahide
Our annual St Sylvester's Mini All Ireland competition has run throughout the month with boys & girls aged 7 - 11 playing football and camogie matches in the run up to Finals Day this Sunday 19th May. The Finals Day is an exciting day for the players, coaches and families alike with a real festival atmosphere at Broomfield including fun games stalls, food & activities for all the children. Farrell Hurls will join us once again this year for everything the keen camogie or hurler needs! We owe huge appreciation to Kerrigans Foods & Super Valu Malahide for their support this year. Weekend Ahead
Here are the fixtures for the weekend and into next week. The best of luck to our hurlers in league - senior men away on Saturday in the AHL2 and our second and third teams at home but moved to Malahide Castle because the Mini All Irelands are on at Broomfield. Next week our footballers are back in action - seniors at home hoping to keep their unbeaten run in the league and our intermediate men away to Skerries Good luck too to the Senior Women playing Clontarf in the Championship. Lets give the teams all our support.

Strong Performance by Syls in AFL4
Well done to the 2nd team footballers this morning beating Clontarf at home in Broomfield. Syls had a very strong first half getting four goals past the Clontarf goal.. HT: 4-04 v 0-4. The second half saw Clontarf responding well and getting one goal back too to make the difference just 4 points at the final whistle. Final score 4-07 v 1-12.

Bitter Disappointment for Minor Hurlers in MHL2
Our Minor hurlers were left bitterly disappointed this morning at Malahide Castle as they lost out to a determined Naomh Barrog who scored a last gasp goal to win by a point. Final score Syls 2-23 v 3 - 21 Naomh Barrog.

St Sylvesters senior footballers maintained their winning run in AFL2 with their second win in five days vs Raheny in St.Annes Park.

St Sylvester’s GAA will support Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm, Darkness Into Light Walk once again this year with breakfast for walkers afterwards. Open from 5am. We ask that everyone support this great cause on Saturday.

Report: Senior Men Return To Winning Ways in AFL2
Our men’s senior team maintained their winning start to AFL Division 2 on a damp, breezy night in Broomfield. With very contrasting fortunes in the recent senior championship both teams were looking to maintain winning records in AFL2 and Castleknock, with 11 of the team who recently beat St. Vincent’s in the championship started as favourites. Their bright start justified this tag and they had two points on the board within the first two minutes.

Our U14 boys did themselves proud topping their groups at Dublin Feile 2019 and continuing to semi-finals in Division 2 and Divisiion 8.. St Sylvester's The U14B played St Peter's Ballyboughal @ Broomfield in their semi while at Cuala, the U14As faced Raheny, Cuala, St Mary's Saggart & in the semi final met Clontarf.
