GALA Night - 14th November 2015

With more than 2,000 members, St Sylvester’s GAA club are the largest community based sporting organisation in Malahide. We rely heavily on the support and goodwill of many individuals and businesses to help us provide the services we offer to our young people and their extended families. In the juvenile section alone (aged 4 to 16) we facilitate more than 800 girls & boys in organised sporting activities on a weekly basis.

Alongside the sporting ambitions, the club’s priorities include helping young people develop life-long friendships, enhance their physical & mental wellbeing and build personal pride through participation in their local community. Participation is a core value of our club and we strive to make everyone welcome and included.
Our club has witnessed strong growth in the number of young people participating however, unfortunately, our facilities have not kept pace with this growth.
As part of our long-term facilities development plan, we plan to finish construction of the “Ball Wall” facility that is located in Broomfield, Malahide. Completing this facility will allow us to offer additional training facilities in a modern, safe environment for our young members – most importantly during the winter months.
To help pay for this next stage of our investment programme, we are holding a GALA night in the Grand Hotel, Malahide on the 14th November, 2015. We hope to raise the €30k that is required to complete this facility.
All funds raised at this event will go directly towards the completion of this facility.
Tickets for the event will go on sale next week and will be available through the juvenile team mentors.
The numbers that can attend are strictly limited and we anticipate a high level of demand, so if you are interested please make contact immediately.
If you cannot attend this event but would like to help support, please make contact with me directly.
Many thanks
