Scoil Iosa Girls on winning the Dublin Senior Ladies Schools Final

Congratulations from all in Syls to the Scoil Iosa Girls on winning the Dublin Senior Ladies Schools Final against St MacDaras Community College, Templeogue. After a very tense first half and the teams level at the break the girls had to work hard in the second half to secure victory and a Leinster Final clash against Gorey CS on Tuesday 11th March at 1pm in Emmets GAA Grounds in Bray.

It was great to see Ann O'Mordha out at the game today and so soon
> following the recent sad passing of her dear mam. Once again she was
> on hand to assist John Mangan with team affairs . In appreciation of
> all Ann's efforts over the past year the girls made a pre match
> presentation of a signed football from all the squad. Complete with
> Puntee I'm sure it will be proudly on display in the O'Mordha
> houselhold!
>
> Best wishes to all the girls in the final, most of whom compete on
> various teams in the Ladies Section.
