Put simply, it was a smashing event, full house, flawless organisation, great craic and we managed to celebrate and honour many of our achievements in 2010. Micháel Gaffney who almost single handedly saved our bacon, Sinead's All Star and All Ireland success, Gary's All Ireland (and Niamh McEvoy's of course), Airy Cleere's marvelous summary of our football journey, Brian Danaher having the craic with Marty Morrissey and the highlight for all was Nicky Cleere walking to the stage to take the Personality of the Year Award. He didn't stop there, he kept us amused with his comments on the past year, the support he has received from all sports, his brothers and family and his challenge to the footballers he lead so well for so long - Win the Championship. Marty asked Nicky to join him on the Saturday Show on RTE - we'll let you know.

After talking to juveniles earlier in the evening, Liam Sheedy gave a great talk about the Tipperary journey - I'll add more.

Brian Sullivan wearing his Bank of Ireland hat gave us a word from our sponsors but also gave us a few comments on the great year at Syls for Ladies Football.

Our Chairman Eddie Sullivan was the usual flawless host and Marty Morrissey did the compeering again, he's getting to know us at this stage, Gabrial Bannigan (Gabrielle they were calling him), Tom Kirrane Leonard O'Carroll did some of the introductions,

John Keenan again captured the awards in a superb presentation - I will post it when I get it from John.

I know Susan McLaverty, Robert Rooney and Francine Shelly did much of the work (Francine will fill us in on this end) and, like I said, it was flawless, the room looked great, the grub was great . . . . again, well done lads.

I hope to get the pictures from the photographer - will post in a few days.
