News from the girls Feile

Anthony sent a report and sent a few pictures, Peter sent a few also but the girls were having too much fun, couldn't have been the serious matter of Feile . . . I hear we had great support from our parents in setting up the fields and co-hosting eight teams with neighbours Nmh Marnóg and many thanks to all who helped . . . and, we made the semi-finals losing to Ballyboden . . . and Peter Hickey has pictures at gaapics.ie . . .

Photos of the Ladies U14 Feile team availing of Ultan McComish  van  the girls called it our new Mini Bus. At one stage there was almost a record breaking attempt  to see how many bodies you can you fit in a van . . . hilarious.

On Saturday 13th April the Syls girls took part in the Feile football competition and what a competition it turned out to be . With more than 1, 000 girls competing we here at St Sylvesters jointly hosted Feile with our near neighbours and friends Naomh Mearnog.

From 8.45 on Saturday morning to shortly after 6 15 pm Broomfield was a hive of activity with games galore ! The Sylvesters girls were absolutely magnificent right through the day . Having gone all the way to the semi finals the Syls girls were beaten only in the last couple of minutes by two goals from Raheny.

To all of the girls we as a club say a very well done and thank you so much for representing your club and your families so magnificently on the day !
