Stack Family kick off Syls new developments

There was a small reception in the Grand Hotel last evening to mark the sponsorship of our proposed Training Wall development by the family of the late Tim Stack who started the first hurling team in Syls.

Vice Chairman, Susan McLaverty gave us a nice potted history of hurling at Syls and of Tim Stack, a Railway Cup hurler himself. Andrew Stack said that his father would be delighted to see the progress of hurling in Malahide and that his family were very pleased to be able to help with this worthy development. It was lovely also to see Teresa Murray Hession attend and lend her support and encouragement.

Very sorry for the quality of the picture - I expected it to be better!
