U9 football and hurling update 24th March
Syl’s U9s Football versus Fingallians this Saturday meet 10.30 Malahide castle
Last week we played two strong hurling games against Oliver Plunketts
The boys played a stormer with excellent performances from Gavin McCormack ,Seamus Carey in midfield Luke Carroll and Luke Darcy were unbeatable in the defence and we saw our first 45 score over the bar with an excellent strike from Ben Mooney we were unlucky not see another one as it hit the upright
Callum Murray made short work of his new hurl splinters galore Kiernan
McLoughney ground striking was top notch Con Gibson tidied up the mid
filed excellent housekeeping Con ,Brendan Crean kept the opposition on
their toes throughout and found the net on two occasions Mark Lally was
unbeatable Shane Murray battled to the very end
All the boys gave 100% commitment and their improvement is vast in all a very enjoyable Saturday morning
