U15 girls Div 1 Shield Final v na Fianna

U15 girls Div 1 Shield Final v na Fianna

Very proud of the girls last Saturday who lost a real cracking final by one point to Na Fianna after coming back from 8 points down at one stage and missing 4 starters ( thanks to Aoife, Caoimhe and Leah from U14s for stepping up to fill gap ) - and what a touch of real class from Na Fianna coach for taking off one of their players when one of ours got sin binned for what he felt was a very harsh call - well done Derek and congrats to your girls they are a credit to you.

U14 girls good season in Division1

Never an elasy assignment to play division 1 football at any age and congratulations to Ian McComish and Donal McCarthy and their team. They got promoted to Div 1 this year, big step up but girls improved with each match peaking with a narrow defeat to Na Fianna in last match of season. Also congratulations to Caitlin Guiden who represented Dublin at U14 in the recent Leinster Final against Meath.
