NEW Goal Mouth Barriers P1 & AWP - Please Read

Over the coming days we will be erecting barriers in the goalmouths on P1 and All Weather Pitch (AWP) in Broomfield. In relation to P1, we are placing the barriers in the goalmouth to protect the goal area which is heavily used, during matches,training, and off season. These will also be repaired over the coming weeks to get them right for next season. >>>

In relation to the AWP, we are placing the barriers here, to act as part as a deterrent to unwanted guests who are frequently using our facilities without any permission. Only recently the triangular support bar was pulled away from the cross bar, and we are in the process of getting it repaired, if not we will have to buy a new one. There will be a bit of extra work for mentors and volunteers as they arrive up for training/matches and as they lock up at the end of the day. We appreciate the extra effort needed.
To remive:

1. Coaches can unlock the barriers using the exact same key that opens all the gate locks

2. Place the barriers behind the goals.
3. The last group on the pitch should replace the barriers in the goalmouths & lock before you leave the facilities.

The purpose of this investment is to ensure that we will have excellent facilities available to us at all times.
