Danielle Lawless stars in Dublin Minors Leinster Championship victory.

Dublin minors emerged convincing winners over Westmeath on Sunday last in Clane. The final score line of 6.22 to 4.9 belies the resurgence of Meath in the final ten minutes of normal time. With ten minutes remaining the Jackies lead by twelve points and were coasting. Meath had other ideas and deservedly forced extra time.
However they were unable to replicate that purple patch when play resumed and only raised one white flag in the remaining twenty minutes. Dublin were in full flight and ran out convincing winners. The margin of victory was a formidable 19 points.
Danielle had an excellent game and contributed three points. Her work rate was phenomenal as always and Danielle is still eligible to play minor football in 2017.
Danielle was also shortlisted for the player of the match award, which eventually went to WestMeath full forward Amy Alford who dragged WestMeath back into the game with a great solo performance
