Senior Ladies win again
Syl’s Senior Ladies footballers notched up another win on Wednesday night against St. Maur’s in the Division 2 Cup. The score was 3-14 to 1-5. Syl’s were without the services of their Dublin trio who play in the NFL semi final v Cork in Birr this Saturday at 1.30pm.
The rest of the squad put on a great show of hard work and fluid movement. It gave an opportunity for some of the younger Minors to show their paces. Special mention must be made of the kick outs from goalkeeper Katie Slattery who initiated several good movements with her clever deliveries.
Next week it is League away to Man-o-War, Wed. 7.30. Niamh, Nicole and Sinead will be back in Club action.
