U10/U11 Boys head to Newry and bring back some silverware

Many thanks to Mayobridge GAA Club in Co Down for a memorable day out and what a great lineup of clubs, Scotstown Burren, Crossmaglen, Ballinderry, many more, some of the greats of Gaelic Football. Here's pic with our boys with the Cross lads (The Real Madrid of GAA, according to the kids) Joe Brolly even gave the pic of the boys a retweet on Twitter!
Our boys spent some quality time with the Cross boys between games, they were shouting for us the final as the team we beat in the final Clontibret of Monaghan beat them with a "golden score" after two bouts of extra time in their semi final. Syls won the Cup Final 1-3 to 0-1 . Scorers for Syls Sean Curran 0-1 & PJ Hickey 1-2 , great performances by both squads on the day. David Lassis was chosen as captain and presented with the cup on behalf of Syls on the day.
