U12 Girls provided a fabulous exhibition of football against St. Finbarrs

St. Sylvesters U12 girls had a break for a few weeks due to opposition unable to field and unplayable pitches. The girls travelled to St. Finbarrs in John Paul Park, Ashtown on Saturday. The day was bright and dry with conditions ideal for good football. After the defeat to Westmanstown Gaels, the girls put a lot of hard work in at training. This work paid off handsomely. The girls gave an exhibition of how football should be played.

There was great ball movement from defence into attack resulting in some excellent scores. The girls had a great win to thoroughly enjoy themselves. A special thank you to M. Roche who stepped up from the U11 panel for the game. The panel on the day was A. Brenner, S. Fogarty, K. Brophy, T. O’Keeffe, M. Ring, S. Hansen, E. Brady, C. NicCormaic, L. Murphy, S. Kealy, B. Mullenny and M. Roche. A great thank you to the parents that supported the girls.
