U12 Girls unable to recover from poor start against O’Tooles.

The girls travelled to O’Tooles on a lovely evening for football. With no training for two weeks the girls were slow in getting to the pace of the game. The girls struggled with the pace and accuracy of the O’Toole girls. As the half progressed the girls dug deep to register a number of scores.

The second half showed a vast improvement with the girls showing great skill and teamwork to claw back the deficit. Though the outcome of the game had been decided by half time, the girls showed great grit to reduce the margin by more than half.  This second half performance had everyone in good form.

A special thank you to M. Roche who joined us from the U11 panel.
