Martin Morton mentor of 2005 boys missed the trip as he was back in the Syls clubhouse raising funds for St Sylvester's selling Christmas cards. A big thank you to Martin.

A big thank you also to Jackie Costello associated with "The Ploughman in Kinsaely" for arranging the jackets for the coaches. Jackie herself a member of the 2005 mentor team, player on Syls ladies adult team and coach with Syls Academy every Saturday.

In his end of year address to the everyone, William Rooney thanked all the kids, parents and coaches for a great year and is looking forward to U10 football and hurling in 2015. The plan is to field 4 football and 3 hurling teams in 2015.

On behalf of the Kids, Parents and Mentors, A big thank you to William Rooney who organises everything in the background for the 2005 boys, fixtures, registrations, attends meetings, friendly games, training facilities, finances and everything else that needs to be done,
efficiently and without a fuss. William was awarded St Sylvester's Juvenile Club Person of the year in 2014, a richly deserved award.
