Obituary with thanks to Eddie Ó’Mhórdha
I just got a message from the Doyle Family that my friend Tony Doyle Seabury, Malahide has passed away. Tony had been sick for a few years but fought it every step of the way. He finally lost his battle today. Tony was a member of the famous St. Vincent's Doyle family. Similar to all his family Tony played with Vincent's and managed their Bar for a number of years. After his marriage to Stephany, Tony moved to Malahide, He trained St. Sylvesters adult teams for a while in the late 70's early 80's. He helped out a lot in the rebuilding in the Club during this period. Tony also managed our Clubhouse and Bar in more recent years. Some of our members visited Tony in Seabury during his illness over the past couple of years. The one thing Tony really wanted to see was the Dubs winning the "five in a row" His brother Bobby had won three All Ireland medals with the Dubs in the 70's. I spoke to Tony a few times since the All Ireland and I know he was over the moon that they had made history.
