Playing pitches at Bridgefield
The Club views with considerable alarm any proposal to convert one of these pitches into an extension of the existing car park. We wish to place on record the following observations regarding this proposal.
Garda vetting
As part of the Garda Vetting process, all mentors must complete attached forms and return them to the club in a sealed envelope with your name on it and also mark it for Norma Murphy's attention. The actual Garda Vetting Document must be completed on both sides on 1 page.
Club notes 24th May
Our Féile hurling team, playing in division 2, reached the semi finals but lost to St Jude’s who went on to overall victory. Our thanks to St Judes, St Brigits and Kilmacud Crokes for the excellent organisation and hospitality we enjoyed during Féile.

St Sylvester’s club notes 18th May
Our senior footballers got through the back door at the expense of Whitehall in the championship by 1-8 to 7 points. The intermediates unfortunately lost by 5 points to St Pats and it was a draw for the juniors, the game finished 0-15 to 2-09. After many years of hard work, Martín Meeney left his hallmark on the under 16 hurlers. Ernie Brenner and Colm O’Connor have now added their stamp.
Syls celebrate Lá na gClub in style
The GAA is alive and well and living in Malahide after 125 years, no doubt about that. Susan, Ciaran, John, Ernie, Suzanne, Gerry, Declan, Brian, Francine and many more put on a show and the club turned out, young and old, to celebrate. Of course, it helps when the sun shines while the pipers led the teams down the hill to Church Rd after an afternoon of crack in Broomfield and a late night the night before. Well done Syls. I will posty a fe wmore pictures in a few days

Club notes May 4th
The senior team suffered a one point championship defeat to a very good Ballymun team and now join Crokes in the draw for the next round. That draw will be interesting to say the least. The intermediates had a one point victory over Isles. Micháel, who serves a nice pint in the bar, was ice cool when he served up a brilliant winning point. The juniors had a bit more to spare, winning against Liffey Gaels by 9 points with a great team performance.
