Great Fun Had By All At Our Final Nursery Day
Fantastic last day of nursery for the girls section. It's been a very eventful season with the commencement of the camogie under ther watchful eye of co ordinator Killian Kirrane. A huge thank you to Ciarian Reilly for kick starting it and also Liam Osbourne for his assistance. We are hoping more coaches will come on board next year so please get in touch with killiane. Also exciting to see the U11 girls training on a Friday night in camogie in the free for all Friday with Pat Hoyne. Camogie has well and truly started in st Sylvester's.
We want to say good bye and good luck to the 2009 girls who are leaving nursery. They have grown in confidence and their skill base is becoming more developed. Good luck. Last but not least a massive thank you to all the new coaches ( Les, Brian, Paul, Ciaria, Caroline , Anne, Monica, Hazel, Carmel Long, Carmel, Helen, Ailish, Miriam, Aoife, Karen , Keith, Killane, Liam, Ciarian, Jackie, John- apologies if I forgot anyone) who started this year and hopefully with stay on next year. Your involvement has made the nursery so much fun for the girls which we hope has helped them develop a love for the game. Go girls Go Syls
Today also saw the inaugural Nursery Challenge Match between the boys coaches and girls coaches. It was a great game on what turned out to be probably the hottest day of the year. That however did not stop the fierce competiton that was evident between the two teams. The girls coaches unfortunately were denied victory but were gracious in defeat. Congestion to the boys coaches however we will be back next year to claim the trophy. Have a great summer and see you all next season.
