Appropriate Footwear & Spectator Information at Míchaél Gaffney Park All Weather Pitch
Our new all weather pitch at Broomfield is a fantastic new asset our Club members will enjoy for years to come. Please help to keep it in top condition by wearing appropriate footwear. From 1st Feb the rule will be strictly .....Wrong Footwear - No Access
- Football boots with moulded or screw in studs are the recommended option for the AWP
- Astro boots are not ideal.
- General Trainers and football boots with blades are not allowed.
- Parents/ Supporters should only view from outside pitch area.
In general most teams are over 90% compliant and it will always take a week or two for everybody to get into the habit as teams are coming back at different stages .
The Simple message from Feb 1st is... Wrong Footwear - No Access.
