Anne Clarke and Panner McCarthy
Name : Anne Clarke
Born : Dublin
Connection to St Sylvesters : Play for the Senior Ladies Football Team
Why did you volunteer? : I heard so many good things from other people that had done previous shows for other clubs. It’s a fantastic way to raise money for the club and to bring a club together. So I said why not stick the dancing shoes and see what happens
How has the training been going? : Training has been good craic, the girls teaching us are great (and patient ha ha!). Everyone in the group are great fun and very supportive. I could not have asked for a better partner in Panner as well
Describe your experience so far : Great experience, I have never laughed so much in my life, made a load of new friends. It has been really well organized, Keith Murphy has been super. I have never had so many WhatsApp messages in my life :)
Who is coming along to cheer you on the big night : Hopefully I won't have to rent a crowd but my boyfriend Sven, parents, Peter & Rose, my sisters, brother in laws, a few mad Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends
What would you say to people who wished they had volunteered : Definitely do it if you get the opportunity, it’s something I never thought I would do and it has definitely brought me out of my comfort zone
Any words of advice for your dancing partner? : Be grand Panner, if it all goes wrong on the night there is always the bar afterwards
