Disappointment for Minor Hurlers in MHL2
St Sylvester's new All Weather Pitch was much-needed this morning as the rain lashed down for our Minor hurlers Division 2 clash
with Clontarf at Broomfield. Behind at half-time, our lads brought the game back on side with a goal shortly after the start of the second half but unfortunately couldn't prevent the Clontarf lads getting the upper-hand by a big difference in the end aided by conversion of more goals chances than we did.
Final score; 1-09 to 3-09. Goal from Mick Shalloe, 5 pointed frees from Ciaran McLoughney, points from play by Daragh McLoughney (2), Sean Murphy & Ollie Twomey.
