U16H D3 O'Tooles 2-06 St Sylvesters 2-13 With only thirteen players available due to vacation and Dublin duty we were a little worried travelling to O'Tooles, just below us in the league. Thomas goaled early, Eoin Mc and Collie pointed before O'Tooles rocked us with a goal and points to level it. Eoin Mc plucked a high ball to score an excellent goal but again O'Tooles responded from a penalty and we led by 4 at the break.

The second half was scoreless for a loing while before we started finding our range and a string of points from Collie (a few beauties from frees), Maccer, Killian Haverty, Karl and Paudi saw us flattered a little to win by seven.

Danny, Paddy and Killian kept it tight at the back, Hugh, Killian and a hard working Ciaran held a strong opposition, Thomas and Karl did well in the middle particularly catching and blocking, Paudi had a great battle with a small but very handy wing back, Matthew also had a battle with a very good centre back and Paul Ryan played his best hurling this year to neutralise the same player in the last quarter. Eoin Mc with 1-2 and Collie with 8 points were our scorers in chief and always looked dangerous.

Tuesday 21st we play Crumlin in Bridgefield. They bested us in the C Championship Final last year and we are both unbeaten in this league so it promises to be cracking game. Come along and support us if you can. We have to travel to Willie Pearse Park the following Tuesday for the return game and that will surely decide our league.
