Notice of motions for the AGM and nominations of registered full members to serve as Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Registrar, Communications Officer or as one of three ordinary committee members may be made by any two registered full members and must be submitted to the Secretary in writing and received by him no later than Thursday 9th April 2009. A nomination must be accompanied by the written consent of the nominee. Nomination forms are available on request from the Secretary.

Members are urged to volunteer for positions on the Executive Committee as there are likely to be a number of vacancies arising.

Nominations and proposals received by the Secretary by Thursday 9th April shall be displayed prominently in the club premises and shall be made available to registered full members at the club premises from Thursday 16th April. Copies of the minutes of the previous AGM, the Secretary’s report, audited accounts and sub-committee reports shall be made available to registered full members at the club premises from Thursday 16th April.

In order to allow more time for discussion and contributions from the floor at the meeting, it will be taken that to a large extent the above mentioned reports will have been read by members in advance of the AGM.

A large attendance at this important meeting is desirable and we are asking members to make a special effort to attend.
