Annual Malahide Inter Club Golf Competition
The Annual Inter Club Golf Competition between St Sylvesters Golf Society, Malahide Cricket Club, Malahide Golf Club and Malahide United was held at Malahide Golf Club on Fri July 29th. The competition was setup six years ago as a match between Syls and the Cricket Club and has expanded over the years to it's present form and we enviasge that more clubs will join over the coming years.
Despite Syls victories over the previous years we were soundly beaten into 3rd place this year by an outstanding team from The Golf Club.
In light of this defeat we propose to setup a qualifying system for all interested in representing Syls next year in this very enjoyable event.
We propose a points system based on golf outing results with a published league table after each event, culminating in the final 12 for next years event.
