Bag packing a big success - thanks and well done

Last Saturday we had a fundraiser in dunnes stores in the pavilions swords where we had over 40 volunteers packing bags to raise money for the juveniles of st. Sylvesters. This turned out to be a great success with 1200 euro being raised through the huge efforts from parents of our young players.
A big thank you to all volunteers who manned the tills from 10 in the morning until 6 in the evening, special mention to Anthony Keogh, Mick Byrne, Aidan Lillis, Pat Hoyne, and John Macormack for getting the parents from their respective teams to give up a few hours  and help raise some much needed funds, also big thanks to the mentors of the under 13s especially patrick miskelly and john crosse who co-ordinated a very successful day. Thanks too goes to Charo Barnes who stayed in dunnes all day with the main organiser Gary gilmore to help make sure things ran smoothly.
A huge thank you to Gary gilmore who managed to secure a day in a very big store to help syls raise much needed funds and also for giving up a full Saturday to make sure things ran smoothly on the day, also thanks to Declan Ryan and the inter management team for the lend of their jerseys on the day.
Well done again to all involved and we look forward to working with you all again in the future.
Thanks again
Brian Barnes
