Boys and Girls play out a thriller
Fresh from league success on Friday the U14 girls pitted their wits against the U13 boys fresh from hurling success yesterday. The lads dominated the first half and ran up a tidy lead. The second half was a different story and the lasses laid siege to the boys goal, knocking up a decent score. And nobody complained that all 30 girls were on the field for the half. Very sporting, and Syls definitely won.
The girls were thrilled that everyone got to play and the boys were definitely thrilled that they didn't lose - word had it that they were scared.
