Club notes St Sylvester’s GAA club.

Shane O’Connor and Ross Hazley begin this year’s roll of honour with Sigerson Cup winner’s medals for DIT who defeated a highly fancied UCC in the final. What a great honour to be part of this historic first victory. Two nice guys finish first.

The intermediate football team had a very impressive win over Whitehall. Derek óg Roche got the vital last point to get the win over Na Gael Og for the junior b team.

The minor hurlers got off to a winning start with a three point victory away to Ballinteer. Goalkeeper Danny Colclough was the hero of the day.

Both Alan and Graham Morris featured in the Fingal draw with Louth in the National Hurling League.

Next Friday March 1st Malahide man, At The Races commentator and renowned tipster, Gary O Brien will be in the club to draw the winner of the Trip to Cheltenham. Make sure you’re in with a chance of winning and support this fundraiser.

The seniors play league away to Oliver Plunketts on Tuesday 26th of February. They play V de P cup against Raheny on Sunday March 3rd at home at 11.00 am. The intermediate play against Ballyboughal in the Loving cup, simultaneously. The junior B team play Castleknock at 14.30 in the Sheridan Cup also in Broomfield on Sunday.

The club Lotto draw takes place every Thursday and this week’s jackpot is €2,650.
