First Hurling Workshop of the new year!!

Pat Herbert, native of Limerick and currently head of the Irish Army Reserve forces and former Toomevara Senior Hurler Manager, takes a session in O’Tooles GAA Club.

The aim of the course is to provide coaches with up to date knowledge regarding the most effective methods & drills to undertake in order to develop fitness, using drills that incorporate the sliotar.

Refers to benefits of training with, as opposed to without, the sliotar (e.g. enjoyment & interest levels).
Demonstrates and explains how players can become more confident with the ball under fatiguing conditions.
Training Drills that maximise learning and skill development.
