Girls U16 C'ship SF v Cuala Sunday Broomfield 3pm
The U16 girls have also reached the U16 Championship Semi Final V
Cuala at home in Broomfield at 3pm. The last time we reached the U16
Semi Final was also at home V Thomas Davis in 2002 see attached
photograph. The 2002 team went on to win the double of League &
championship.
In 2002 our number 11 certre half forward was Sinead Aherne (see second from left front row). Next Sunday our number 11 will probably be Graine McGinty (no pressure Grainne, big boots to fill). There are many other Current Senior Players in the 2002 photograph including the other all Ireland winner this year Niamh McEvoy sixth from the left.
Lets hope the girls can win again on Sunday.
