Inters in Loving Cup semi's . .
Our intermediate footballers finished their program of round robin games in the Loving Cup a couple of weeks ago with a win over Naomh Barrog which left them on top of their group but waiting on St. Vincent's to finish off their games before knowing how the semi-finals would work out.
Last night, while our seniors were beating Thomas Davis in their cup semi-final our North County neighbours Ballyboughal were doing our Intermediates a massive favour . They beat St. Vincent's by 1pt on a score line of 1-21 to 3-13 to ensure that St. Sylvester's remained on top of the group. We will now have a home semi-final against Ballyboden St. Enda's to look forward to in the near future. Let's hope that our intermediate footballers can follow the in the footsteps of our seniors and juniors A's by qualifying for their Cup Final.
