INVITATION TO ALL OUR MEMBERS, FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS

Broomfield Sunday 12th - Big Day Out starting at 1.00pm. We take the next step in developing our facilities at Broomfield when we TURN THE SOD for our new Ball Wall, we are launching a Buy-a-Brick Fundraiser and, of course, we host about 120 children in our ever colourful Annual Mini-All-Ireland Finals. We invite all our members, friends and supporters to join us for a great day for St Sylvesters.

We have great pleasure in hosting Adrienne Stack who will turn the first sod for our new Ball Wall development. A few years ago the Stack Family made a generous donation to St Sylvesters towards our Ball Wall in memory of their father Tim who was one of the main proponents and supporters of hurling at Syls in the '80's. We drew great encouragement from their generous gesture and, thanks to the hard work of our members and great support from our local politicians, Fingal County Council and the National Lottery we are now in a position to provide a facility that will help all our footballers and hurlers to greatly improve their skills and will, no doubt, push St Sylvesters to even greater successes in the future.

We are taking this opportunity to launch a Fund Raiser to raise money to improve our facilities in Broomfield, including covering any unforeseen costs with the Ball Wall and other much needed improvements to our pitches and dressing rooms. The theme of this initiative is BUY A BRICK - HELP BUILD THE FUTURE OF OUR CLUB BY BUYING A PIECE OF IT . . . and we hope our members, friends and supporters will view this as an initiative worthy of your support.

Last but by no means least we have the Mini All-Ireland Finals from 1.00pm onwards where Malahide's finest players, boys and girls, from Under 8 to Under 12, battle for honours in football and hurling. It is always a very colourful and fun day and it will do you good to see the energy and earnestness of the children.

Audi North are once again our generous sponsor for the Mini All Ireland Finals and they always make sure the day is well run everyone is looked after.

We will also be joined at the Sod Turning by our many generous sponsors, by local politicians who gave great help and support, by Fingal County Council and the Lord Mayor of Fingal, Cian O Callaghan.

So, come along and join us, give us a hand if you are so inclined, buy a brick if you can or just enjoy the spectacle and the craic.

Looking forward to seeing you

Mel McIntyre
