The final score did not reflect the closeness of the contest as with 10 minutes to go we were level and playing with the wind. Conor Keating played well in his first full game after injury while Paul Rafferty and David Donoghue made welcome returns to the Syls jersey at half back and corner forward respectively. Scorers were Cillian O Riordan 1-2, Niall O Connor 0-4 frees and Padraig Kennedy 1-0. A good year overall but a pity to miss out on going up another league.
