Concluding Stages of Leagues
As previously informed:
When Teams finish with equal points in deciding 1st or 2nd place for
all U/16 and younger age grade League competitions a Play Off will take
place... head to head results or score difference will not be used.
All U/11 to U/16 League tables can be viewed on
www.hill16.ie . If there are any outstanding results , please forward the details by email to
juvresults@dublingaa.ie
stating the code, age group and division along with the missing result
or if the game conceded or not played due to weather conditions, etc.
CCC1 Board Notes
Details for the final CCC1 blitz of the year ,the U/10 Football Blitz , on Saturday October 20th will be issued on Thursday.
Note: There will be no fixtures issued by CCC1 for the Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday October 27th.
CCC2 Board Notes
Belated
thanks to the staff in Parnell Park and to St. Vincents G.A.A. club, who
enabled us to host a memorable two nights of U/15 Hurling Championship Finals
the week before last. Congratulations to Na Fianna, Ballyboden St. Endas, Craobh
Chirain and Cluain Tarbh, who won their respective championships and
congratulations to those clubs who won Hurling Shield Finals as well.
Clubs are reminded that ten
minutes each way extra time is mandatory in all championship/shield/cup
semi-final and final games.
In
order to keep competitions on schedule it has been necessary to fix some U16
football back matches on Sundays in October. These games have been allocated
dates and can be found on
www.hill16.ie. These games are
strictly play or concede and will not
be called off due to minor games on the same day.
For
the purposes of qualification for the semi-finals of all U/14 and U/16 football
leagues, where teams finish level, a play off must be held. These play offs
will take place on Saturday October 27th if necessary and are
strictly play or concede. CCC2 is not obliged
to hold play offs where teams have already qualified and are tied for 1st,
2nd or 3rd place at the conclusion of the league. Play
offs are only necessary where two teams are tied for fourth or more than two
teams are tied for third place. If teams are tied and qualified CCC is entitled to and will
conduct a draw for finishing positions, home advantage and for semi-final
fixtures
