CCC1 Board Notes:

I attach Hurling fixtures for this Saturday including previously circulated U/8 Hurling Blitz and U/12 Camaint Finals match details.
The U/8 Hurling Blitz medals need to be collected from Parnell Park before Friday by the host club.

Lucan Sarsfields , Ballinteer St John, Castleknock and Skerries Harps need to return U/12 trophies won last year by this Friday at the latest.

With the season having fully recommenced can I suggest all mentors please note the following:

Prior to Match Day - Best Practice
  • Check www.hill16.ie  for fixtures
  • Contact the opposing teams mentor to confirm the match.
  • If it’s a HOME match you must contact the referee coordinator

CCC2 Board Notes:

Due to both the Minor and Senior All Ireland Finals ending in draws CCC2’s calendar will have to be revised with U/15 Hurling Finals and U/16 Hurling Championship being affected. CCC2 will issue revised dates no later than Wednesday 12th September. The U/15 Football Championship dates will remain unchanged.

Clubs are asked to note the following regulation which was agreed in January re: the conclusion of all U/14 and U/16 football leagues.

U/14 and U/16 Football Leagues will be decided by semi-finals and a final. The semi-final pairings will be 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd with 1st and 2nd having home advantage for the semi- finals. The highest placed team in the league that qualifies for the final will have home advantage for the final.

Where two or more teams are tied for 4th place after the league proper has ended play offs must be played but where teams have qualified but are in joint 1st, 2nd or 3rd place a coin toss will determine position. CCC2 is not obliged to nor will we fix play offs where teams have already qualified merely to determine qualifying positions if the situation above comes to pass.
