Ladies Qualify for Leinster Final

Final Score - Clara 0-1, St Sylvester's 4-10 Congratulations to our Ladies Team who defeated Clara from Offaly on Saturday last, to reach the Leinster Final. The girls departed Malahide at midday on Saturday and travelled by coach to Clara in the midlands for this semi-final encounter. Playing out of Dublin against country opposition is always going into the unknown . . .

. . . but the girls had prepared well in training and were well up for the battle. In front of a large home crowd (including former Taoiseach, Brian Cowen) the girls took to their task with real composure, skill and hard work to easily see off the Clara challenge.

Nicole and Emer scored 2 goals each, Sinead scored 6 points including some crackers from play with Macker and Maeve Killen adding a few more to wrap up a convincing win. After some well earned refreshments the girls returned home for some light celebrations!!!. The focus will now switch to the final on the 23rd October against the Kildare champions, St Laurence's. Venue is yet to be confirmed.

Well done to all the players and management and a big thanks to the many who travelled to give great support on the day.
