Mini All Ireland Finals - Another great day for Syls and Malahide

So how does Ciaran do it - yet another scorcher for our annual Mini Leagues Finals. Record crowd, 32 football teams, 16 hurling (8 under 9s, very impressive), 20 games, lots of mammies, daddies and grandparents and friends made this yet another great day out for Sylvesters and Malahide and some of the skills on display, both football and hurling were first class. Kudos to all who participated, organized and helped.

Another great day for St Sylvester's. After 3 weeks of football and hurling we finished with our flagship event, the Mini All-Ireland Finals formally the Street League Finals. Once again we got fantastic weather, the best day of the year so far. 400 boys and girls participated in the tournament which should help our main objective which is to recruit players and parents to help us promote our games in Malahide. It takes a lot of effort to organise this event from the registration of all the players to the finals day. Panner deserves great credit for his efforts and his contribution, making the tournament a success. Many thanks to all who supported Syls over the 3 weeks and on the Finals day. In particular I want to thank all the CCC1 mentors who continue to give their time week in week out and just like the children they are coaching, they are the future of the club.
