Minor B's Secure Top Spot
Our Minor B's footballer's continued their good form with a hard fought win aginst Castleknock. The match was in the melting pot up to the last 10 mins when Stephen Cunningham broke through for a goal and then a couple of minutes later David Kennedy converted a penalty after Kevin O'Flynn was taken down.
Our defence had to fight very hard to limit Castleknock's scoring chances. Almost everywhere on the pitch Castleknock seemed to be physically a bigger team but our lads are very fit and very disciplined kept the pressure on and eventually wore the opposition down. Our next game is the semi-final probably against Na Fianna in 2 weeks. Let's hope our form continues and we book a place in the final.
