MHC B Sylvesters 0-10 Naomh Barrog 1-6 This was a very tight, physical and feisty affair. Conor Dwyer was glad that his helmet offered the protection he needed. There was nothing easy on offer and scores were hard earned by both sides. We battled hard in every position and were deservedly in front by three points with five minutes left. Barrog burst through to score the only goal of the match and level the scores.
They then went a point up from a free but two brilliant long range frees from Colm Byrne sealed a well deserved victory. This win should guarantee us a place in the quarter finals. We play Erins Isle in the final group match in two weeks time in Broomfield. These lads are really worth supporting, always empty the tank and are a real treat to watch.
