More than water in the half time drinks!!
AHL6 St Sylvesters 0-12 St Olafs 0-5
Junior Hurling in Malahide Castle At half time with the aid of the wind our lads were a point ahead after a dour first half 0-4 to 0-3. What a transformation in the second half. I don't what the managers said at half time -some supporters thought that there was a little more than water in the half -time drinks- but whatever was said our lads got "stuck in" , harrying, blocking , non stop chasing the Olafs lads be they backs or forwards and taking their points from distance.
They out scored their opponents in the second half
by 8 points to 2- to win the game by 7 points 0-12 to 0-5 .At the end
of the game, the captain , Ciaran Murray congratulated the lads on their
second half performance but urged them to work and train to be able
to play for a whole match as they played in the second half this
evening.
