Oliver Plunketts win in Croke Park
Congratulations to St Oliver Plunketts NS on winning the Cumann na mBunscoil Senior Hurling Shield Final at Croke Park today, they defeated Scoil Mobhi of Glasnevin 2-8 to 1-5. Earlier in the campaign todays opposition had run out comfortable 5 point victors in Bridgefield, however Mr Fortune had tuned this squad to the max and with Croke Park inspiring them they led from start to finish.
With most of the senior school shouting their support and a vocal parents section the boys , who all hurl for Syls at U11 to U13 played their best game of the season.
