Pockets picked in Rowlesstown
A pretty bleak setting, cold wind straight down an open field perched on a hill. This was an opportunity for some lads to get a game in with much of our starting fifteen missing for one reason or another. We trailed 0-2 to 0-4 after playing into the wind in the first half.

Slowly got ourselves into it in the second half, couple of great points by Brian Sexton, excellent midfield display by Shane O'Connor (nice free), Ciaran Roche with a point from far out, Eoin Fanning with a few frees, Dominic McMahon with another - we lead by two going into overtime when Ravens were awarded a home town penalty, no contact outside the area (nicely dispatched) to steal it at the death.
Three lads made their senior debut, Ciaran McArdle, David Bannigan and another, and Gabrial was delighted with the overall performance and workrate and was only a little disappointed as he felt we deserved the win.
