Satisfying win at Ballymun
VdeP Cup Ballymun Kickams 0-11 St Sylvesters 1-12 Yet another tough game against the Dublin Champions on the all-weather on a really cold windy morning. Again, we did well into the wind in the first half leading 1-04 to 0-02 at one time and holding off a strong Mun run to go in about even at the break.
Eoin Fanning, John Coughlan and Micháel hit some booming points in the second half to give us the win, the defense held very tight all through and we managed to give a lot of the younger players - Scooby, Conor, Eoin Boyne, Mark, Conor Meaney - a good outing for an encouraging win.
Ciaran McArdle came on with brother Gavin and I will lay odds we will see Niall join them sometime this year.
