Senior Girls in Leinster Final
I was in Broomfield today as a supporter in the Leinster Intermediate Semi Final Syls 1-16 Tinahely 3-6 and was very proud to see Syls qualify for the Intermediate Leinster Final next week. The following is a quote from the Dublin Ladies web site:

I think this says it all. Sinead's late goal reminded me of a goal in another code in 1968 when George Best rounded the Benfica Goal Keeper in Wembley. Sinead also in a blue jersey rounded the goal keeper following a long ball in, and coolly planted the ball in the back of the net. Pure genius. I'm sure Brian will have a more comprehensive report.
