Seniors just keep rolling along
AFL1 St Sylvesters 2-10 Ballymun Kickams 1-9 Powerful display in a hard hitting game, probably our most impressive display this year as Kickams were in good form and well up for the game. We fell behind early and it took us a while to get into our stride but points from Jude, Micháel and McGurk kept us in touch and an opportunistic goal by the ever vigilant Eoin Bennis of a Ballymun mistake gave us the lead which we held to the end.
A super goal after the break, well fielded in the middle by Jockser (was this his best game in a long while, catching and distributing very well), through ball to John Murphy who picked out Micháel who coolly stroked it home.
Dave Galvin looked really fit at wing back, Brian McGurk was literally flying and Barry Ryan made a welcome return to the defense.
