Seniors lose in a cracker with Crokes
AFL1 St Sylvesters 1-10 Kilmacud Crokes 2-08 Tough one point loss after leading for most of a very high tempo game with a lot of what is good in Gaelic Football. Both sides were missing high profile players but that took nothing form the quality and effort. Syls dominated the first half with some quick open play and a great goal from Conor Daly but our old failing of slowing the delivery mid second half left Crokes into it and when they got all the frees in the second half (I think we got them in the first) they pipped us by a point. Fair play to both teams for a very entertaining game . . . I hope we meet again this year.
