Seniors shoot on sight at Clontarf
AFL1 O'Tooles 0-07 St Sylvesters 1-12 With Darren and Nigel resting for county duty and Micháel, Aiden and Fanning out with injuries our forward line tonight all staked their claim with some excellent scores. Glen got a good goal after some very swift passing, Russy found his shootiing boots from play and hit two lovely frees from the ground, John Coughlan, Andrew Hartnett, Gary, Campers all contributed good points and we seemed to be happy to simply shoot on sight and I thought it paid dividends.
Of course the win was built on solid defending and fair control of the middle by Padraig Bracken and Shane.
Championship against the same opposition next week and I'm sure it will be a more intense affair.
