St Oliver Plunketts NS hurlers heading to Croker

Best wishes to Mr. Fortune and the senior hurlers of St Oliver Plunketts NS who will be contesting the Cumann na mBunscoil Senior Hurling Shield Final in Croke Park on Tuesday, throw in 10.30. Made up of a panel of 20 hurlers, all who play for Syls and many who are eligible for this competition for the next 2 years, they have worked hard over the last few months and their efforts are being rewarded with a run out in Headquarters.

Its great to see young lads waking to school with hurleys in their hands an being given the opportunity to represent their school in countywide competition. Lets hope this is the first of many appearances in Croke Park for Syls hurlers.

Over the coming weeks we hope to announce details of the inaugural Malahide Schools Senior Hurling Championship between Oliver Plunketts and Pope John Pauls NS to be hosted by the club in Bridgefield.
