St Sylvester’s GAA club notes March 3rd

The senior football team continued their unbeaten run with victory over Raheny in the Vincent De Paul Cup. They play St Vincent’s in the league in Broomfield next Sunday March 10th at 10.30 am. The intermediate football team also won their cup match against Ballyboughal. They play away to St Marks next Sunday March 10th at 10.30 am.

The junior a team play league against St Maur’s in Bromfield at 10.30 next Sunday morning. The junior b team play away to Oliver Plunkett’s at 12.00 noon also on Sunday.

The intermediate hurlers got the year off to a great start with a one point win over Thomas Davis in the Corn Ceitin. The minor hurlers play league against Lucan Sarsfield’s in Broomfield next Sunday morning at 10.30. The under 15 hurlers put in a very impressive performance scoring six goals in their win over St Kevin’s.

The minor girl’s football team were successful in their first outing in division 1 against Fingallions. Many of these girls will line out for Scoil Iosa in the Leinster Schools Senior Ladies quarter final on Monday March 4th.

The club sends sincere condolences to the family and friends of Pat Bonass, recently deceased, a life- long supporter of the club who is fondly remembered.
