Stephen Cunningham starting for Dublin U21
The Dubs totally outclassed Carlow in the first round but have made some alterations for their clash with the midlanders.
In the full-back line Ross McGowan replaces his Kilmacud Crokes club-mate Michael Durcan while at midfield Stephen Cunningham, centrefield for Dublin’s minors last year, will partner Emmett O Conghaile with Glen Whelan now included among the substitutes.
The third change is in the half-forward line where Paul Maguire will start on the wing with Shane Carthy moving to centre-forward at the expense of Michael Gibbs.
Cormac Costello, Paddy Reid, Luke Fletcher, Seán Newcombe and Gavin Burke were not considered for selection by Dessie Farrell and his management team as all are currently injured.
