Syls Celebrating 25 years of Adult Hurling

On Friday the 2nd of December we will be recognising the first adult hurling team to represent St. Sylvesters. In November 1986 a Sylvesters Adult hurling team played its first league match under the auspices of the Junior Hurling Board. We got a late entry into the Junior C league that year which was the lowest division at the time.
The team finished mid -table in their first year and went Junior B in 1989. On Friday 2nd December we welcome that team for a belated team photograph at 8.00 pm in the club.
